Suriname

This collection contains stories from people who are from Suriname, living in Suriname, and/ or of Surinamese heritage. Suriname is a Caribbean country located on the northern coast of South American to the East of Guyana. Formerly a Dutch Colony known as Dutch Guiana, Suriname's official language is Dutch, while many also speak a Surinamese Dutch Creole called Sranan Tongo (also known outdatedly as Taki Taki).
